Why host Terraria with us

Terraria worlds are long-term projects — the Jungle Temple does not clear itself. Run vanilla, a TShock server with real accounts and permissions, or tModLoader with your own mod folder, 24/7 on a tier that starts small because Terraria lets you.

  • Vanilla, TShock or tModLoader — pick at checkout
  • World size, difficulty and seed set from the panel
  • TShock permissions, spawn protection and join password in the panel
  • Bring your single-player world — we’ll host it
  • 2 GB is genuinely plenty for an 8-player world

Hostwolf includes automatic backups, scheduled tasks, Fix-my-server diagnostics and email support. Instant setup in Germany, Finland, the US and Singapore; current availability and prices appear in the region picker.

Terraria mods & resources

The tools we install with one click, plus the wikis and mod libraries worth keeping open in your next tab — full file access included.

Terraria hosting FAQ

What’s the difference between vanilla, TShock and tModLoader?

Vanilla is the unmodified server. TShock adds accounts, groups and permissions for public worlds. tModLoader runs community mods — you upload the .tmod files exported from your matching client and they load on restart.

Can I install mods on a vanilla server?

No — Terraria mods need tModLoader, which you pick at checkout. TShock is about admin permissions and accounts, not content mods.

Can I upload my existing world?

Yes — the web file manager and SFTP give you the whole server directory. Drop your files in, restart the server, and you continue where you left off.

Can I password-protect my server?

Yes — vanilla has a join password field in the panel; on TShock it sits in its config, also editable from the panel.

How many players fit on a server?

About 8 comfortably on the 2 GB tier; large modded worlds want more RAM. Upgrade anytime — the world comes with you.

How fast is my server ready?

A few minutes after checkout. Pick a size and a region, and everything after that is automated — no tickets, no waiting room.
