Garry's Mod servers must register a Steam Game Server Login Token (GSLT) owned by your Steam account to be listed in the server browser. Hostwolf never supplies or manages tokens — your server, your token (that’s Valve’s rule, and it keeps your server tied to you).

Create the token — sign in at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers and register a token for App ID 4000 (Garry's Mod). Free, one per server.

Deploy your server — order as usual. Until a token is set, your server waits with on-screen instructions instead of starting unlisted, so nothing breaks while you fetch it.

Paste it once — in your panel: Startup → Steam Account Token, then start. Done — your server is listed in the browser.

How do Workshop addons work?

Paste a Workshop collection ID in the panel and the server downloads and mounts the entire collection on start. Swap collections anytime — no manual uploads.

Can I run DarkRP or TTT?

Yes — the gamemode is a setting in the panel; it just has to be installed, which a Workshop collection takes care of. Max players, start map and prop limits sit right next to it.

Can I upload my own addons?

Yes — addons that are not on the Workshop go in the addons folder via the file manager or SFTP, right next to your Workshop collection.

How many players fit on a server?

About 16 on 4 GB for sandbox or TTT; DarkRP with addons wants 8 GB, and big roleplay communities 16 GB.

Can my admins help run the server?

Yes — sub-users get their own panel login with only the permissions you grant, from the console to files and schedules.
