Can I make the server public?
Yes — the panel lists it publicly or on LAN only, optionally with a game password and factorio.com account sign-in.
How much RAM does Factorio need?
Vanilla is happy on 2 GB; heavy modpacks and megabases want 4–8 GB. Your save and mods survive every upgrade.
Can I upload my existing factory?
Yes — drop the save file in through the file manager and keep building. Multiplayer save, single-player save: both work.
How many players fit on a server?
A co-op group of ~10 runs on the 4 GB tier; megabases want 8 GB — the simulation, not the player count, is what grows.
Can my friends help me run the server?
Yes — sub-users get their own panel login with only the permissions you grant, from the console to files and schedules.
